Ritual Coffee Roasters — Brew Bar & Kitchen

A roastery café near Cheltenham Spa station for speciality coffee, seasonal brunch and a useful first or last stop on a rail weekend.
Opening hours
Monday–Saturday 8am–5.30pm; Sunday 9am–4pm. Kitchen: Monday–Saturday 8am–3.30pm; Sunday 9am–3.30pm.
Location: Units 31–32, Lansdown Industrial Estate, Gloucester Road, Cheltenham
Cheltenham Spa station sits outside the town centre, and Ritual gives that end of town a reason to stop. The Brew Bar & Kitchen is on Lansdown Industrial Estate: a coffee roastery with a kitchen, rather than a Promenade café. For anyone arriving by train, it makes a sensible first breakfast before walking or taking a bus into the centre.
Why go
Choose Ritual when coffee is part of the outing. You can ask about the beans, try espresso or filter and take a bag home; there is a seasonal brunch menu if you want to sit down properly. The attraction is having a working coffee business behind the cup, with food that makes it more than a takeaway stop.
Where it fits in your day
Pair it with the DEYA taproom on the same industrial estate for a station-side afternoon. Start with food at Ritual, then visit DEYA during its own opening hours. Alternatively, use Ritual for breakfast on departure day rather than crossing back through the centre with luggage for a final meal.
It is less convenient for a rushed coffee between the shops in Montpellier and the Promenade. Those staying centrally may prefer WoodKraft; families heading towards Pittville can start at Boston Tea Party on Clarence Street.
Useful details
The kitchen closes before the café, so an afternoon coffee does not guarantee brunch is still being served. Menus change with the season. For a larger party, ask about seating and any dietary or access needs before arriving with everyone in tow. Use the official Brew Bar page for the current menu and any special evening events.
