West End is the quieter end of Northleach’s handsome market town, and The Wheatsheaf makes a natural place to pause after a walk or a drive through the central Cotswolds. This former coaching inn pairs old stone-and-beam character with a relaxed dining room and a garden for warmer days.

The kitchen serves from breakfast through dinner, with menus shaped by seasonal British produce and familiar pub dishes. It works for a proper sit-down meal as well as a coffee or an easy lunch; families and dogs are welcome, and there are rooms if you want to stay in town.

Good to know

Northleach’s market square and the Old Prison are a short walk away. Check the inn’s current menus and book ahead for Sunday lunch or busy weekends. Kitchen times can change seasonally, so use the linked official site for the latest details.
