Lower Slaughter is often treated as somewhere to pass through. The Manor House gives you a reason to stay into the evening. Its restaurant is the dress-up-a-little option in the village, serving a seasonal à la carte dinner in a country-house setting. You do not need to be a hotel guest to book.

For a gentler stop, afternoon tea is served in the lounges or, when the weather allows, outside. The restaurant and lounge have different service patterns, so choose the experience you want before reserving. It is especially useful for a birthday or a slower end to a day exploring Bourton and the Slaughters.

Good to know

Book in advance, particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings. The main restaurant does not serve Sunday or Monday dinner; look at the current venue schedule rather than assuming hotel dining is available every night.
