The Cotswold Hall

The Cotswold Hall

The Cotswold Hall is Northleach's historic community venue, used for events, cinema, meetings and private hire. The exterior is worth a look on a town walk.

PLAN THE VISIT

Opening hours

The Cotswold Hall opens for booked activities, community events and private hire; it has no regular sightseeing hours. View the historic exterior from West End at any time.

Location: The Cotswold Hall, West End, Northleach, Gloucestershire

Visit website

The Cotswold Hall began life as Northleach Institute in 1886. Its 1897 clock and later additions give West End a handsome civic landmark, and the building remains a working community venue rather than a museum.

What happens here

The hall hosts local meetings, exhibitions, private events and Northleach Cinema, which the town council lists for the first Thursday of the month. Check the current programme before travelling: the interior is available for events and bookings, not for casual daily tours.

On a town walk

Look at the exterior from West End, then continue towards Market Place and the church. This gives a better sense of Northleach’s everyday life than treating the hall as a standalone attraction.
